Use of Practice Nets (April 08, 2008)

The Club has spent around £4000 on new practice run-ups and surfaced in the ptactice nets so please ABSOLUTELEY NO STUDS.
Practice wickets have been prepared on the square east end and there are new practice wickets in front of the aerial cage.
It is very important that neither of these surfaces are used in wet conditions. This will enable us to get long use throughout the summer. If in doubt please ask me.
The mobile net will be kept in the South East corner of the ground adjacent to Cas's bench. A further 50m extension cable will be required for use of the bowling machine at the aerial cage.
If the new grass practice wickets prove successful I will prepare another pair in front of the Clubhouse facing the square.
I am prepared to run and coach four or five individuals on evenings other than Wednesday if Colts and Senior players wish.
Do not expect these grass wickets to be perfect this first year, it will take take a while for them to settle down. Click here to return to the News page
