Pagham won their first match in Sussex Cricket League Division 3 in beating Henfield. Setting 230 to win in the first innings, the home team collapsed to a total of 147 all out.
Matt Colburn hit 66 and Matt Gregory 53 to take Pagham to 229 for 5 declared at Henfield before Gregory also did the hat-trick with the ball with figures of 3 for 19. Chris Crampton hit 51 for Henfield as Sean Rutter grabbed 5 for 35.
Pagham share top place with Middleton and Slinfold who also recorded maximum points.
