Ben Robson has agreed to play for Pagham 1st XI and has been quoted by the press as being delighted with the opportunity to play at a higher level.
"I feel that i can bring some passion into the side and I know that I have the full backing of my captain. If I can go into the side tomorrow and do a job, perhaps chip in with some runs and a tidy fielding display then I will be happy.
When asked to comment on his lack of match readiness this year, Robson scoffed, adding
"I have never been a big fan of net sessions anyway, I will do my talking on the pitch. Whether that means verbally or with bat in hand, who knows. I am capable of scoring runs, and although i may be inconsistent, there is always the potential for fireworks (20 runs or more). I have put my injury worries behind me and this will only be further strengthened by ongoing physio work that i am undertaking in the close season, from September 10th."
