Robson transfer saga ends with loan agreement (August 28, 2008)
Ben Robson has agreed to play for Pagham 1st XI and has been quoted by the press as being delighted with the opportunity to play at a higher level. "I feel that i can bring some passion into the side and I know that I have the full backing of my captain. If I can go into the side tomorrow and do a job, perhaps chip in with some runs and a tidy fielding display then I will be happy. When asked to comment on his lack of match readiness this year, Robson scoffed, adding "I have never been a big fan of net sessions anyway, I will do my talking on the pitch. Whether that means verbally or with bat in hand, who knows. I am capable of scoring runs, and although i may be inconsistent, there is always the potential for fireworks (20 runs or more). I have put my injury worries behind me and this will only be further strengthened by ongoing physio work that i am undertaking in the close season, from September 10th."
