Pagham v Henfield (June 20, 2009)
Pagham v Henfield
Primmer and proper for Pagham

Sean Rutter took three
wickets for Pagham
Choosing to bat first, Henfield found the pace of Mike Hales and Craig Primmer
difficult to handle and were quickly 29 for three.
Slaughter and Mann put on 45 for the fourth wicket but the introduction of Sean
Rutter's spin soon reaped rewards with three wickets falling on 74.
Henfield never came to terms with a pitch of variable bounce and were dismissed
for 117.
The pick of the bowling being Craig Primmer four for 31 and Sean Rutter three
for 23.
Primmer's figures could have been even more impressive had he not bowled two
Henfield batsman with no-balls.
Chasing small scores is not something Pagham find easy, and again they made
life hard for themselves with wickets falling regularly and at 89 for six, it
looked to be in the balance.
Craig Primmer, however, decided he was not going to be pinned down and struck a
quick fire 25 which saw Pagham home with a four-wicket win, and another 30
points.
* Ifield held on for a draw at Bognor after the home side had made 257 for
seven declared. Rob Willway hit 61 not out, Luke Seward 58 and Phil Ball 53.
Peter Dickson was top scorer in the Ifield total of 206 for eight.
